Inter coach Antonio Conte may change the team’s formation to a 3-4-2-1 against Parma today in order to best utilize his squad, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach will be resting 27-year-old Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku for today’s game against Parma, leaving Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez to be the protagonist.

With Lukaku on the bench, Conte has decided to change the 3-4-1-2 formation to a 3-4-2-1, with Croatian forward Ivan Perisic joining Lautaro ahead of Christian Eriksen.

Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini will also return against the Emilian side, pushing Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal to the bench.

Former Roma full back Aleksandar Kolarov will again play as a left sided centre back, a position he needs to impress in today.

Probable Inter line up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Stefan De Vrij, Andrea Ranocchia, Aleksandar Kolarov; Achraf Hakimi, Nicolo Barella, Roberto Gagliardini, Matteo Darmian; Christian Eriksen; Lautaro Martinez, Ivan Perisic.
