A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has analysed Inter’s start to the season.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have been imprecise in the first five league games. The team could have been at the top of the league table, had they beaten rivals AC Milan in the derby earlier this month.

Inter were missing eight players in the game between injuries and Covid-19, with Serbian veteran Aleksandar Kolarov disappointing as a centre back in the game.

Coach Antonio Conte is positive still and has placed trust in Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who is a key figure for the Milanese club.

Lukaku has scored seven goals in seven games so far this season, and today’s clash against Parma will not feature the Belgian, who is currently injured.

Conte will have to guide the side to a win without their talismanic figure, and at the same time will continue his work in trying to get the best out of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen.
