Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini will return against Parma today, with coach Antonio Conte set to start the Italian, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 26-year-old Italian midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has recovered from Covid-19.

The contagion forced him to miss the last four games across all competitions, but the 51-year-old Italian coach is planning to start Gagliardini against Parma today, leaving Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic on the bench.

Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij and Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal will also both be rested against the Emilian side, the report continues.

Italian defender Andrea Ranocchia and Serbian veteran Aleksandar Kolarov will both start, with Matteo Darmian playing as a left wing back.

Inter are currently fourth in the league after five games, with a win against Parma today crucial if the Nerazzurri want to keep up pressure near the top of the table.
