Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will not be available for the Nerazzurri’s upcoming Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Belgian striker is still suffering from a muscle injury and trained individually today, all but confirming that he would not be fit enough to face Zinedine Zidane’s side on Tuesday.

Inter’s goal now is to have him available for their trip to Bergamo to face Atalanta on Sunday, the report continues, but there is no guarantee that he will be fit enough to feature, due to the delicacy of his injury.

Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez, who also trained individually today, may appear against the Spanish side next week, but is unlikely to start.

Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar may be available, depending on the results of the Covid-19 tests that the squad underwent earlier today, which will be revealed tomorrow.
