Inter are waiting to see if they will have Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez available for their Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri will have 25-year-old Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar at their disposal, after the player recovered from Covid-19 a few days ago.

It is unlikely that Skriniar will start against Zinedine Zidane’s side on Tuesday, considering his long absence of over three weeks.

The Milanese club are waiting now to discover the fate of both Lukaku and Sanchez, who missed yesterday’s bitter 2-2 draw against Parma.

Inter are not hopeful about having the Belgian at their disposal, not wanting to risk a more serious injury. If the player misses Tuesday’s game, then it is also possible that he will miss next weekend’s clash against Atalanta, and could avoid the Belgium call-up.

The club are more confident about having Sanchez available, but for now it is not clear whether the player would be fit enough to start or remain on the bench.

Stefano Sensi will not be available and is not expected back until after the international break.
