A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has examined the Inter players who have recovered from Covid-19.
The report details how Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni remained in quarantine for 10 days and managed to beat the virus before the derby against AC Milan earlier this month, playing five days later after the negative test against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The long-distance training was fundamental for both Bastoni and the other infected Inter players, the report continues, with a similar system being used to the one earlier this year in lockdown.
English veteran Ashley Young was the fastest to be ready to play again after recovering from the virus, testing negative last Friday before starting against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday earlier this week.
Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini returned yesterday after his recovery, with his last game being against Lazio at the start of the month.
