Christian Eriksen could leave Inter in the fast approaching January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Danish attacking midfielder and his representatives are considering the idea of a mid-season exit after Paris Saint-Germain have ignited their previous interest in signing him.
There has been talk of a possible loan but Inter have no interest in such a dry loan, especially the club owners. Inter president Steven Zhang has told Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio that he has no intention of letting players go on a temporary basis.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that the next few days appear decisive as Inter await a convincing offer for the former Ajax player.
The report goes on to state that Paris Saint-Germain are most interested and could help Inter solve another of their problems after they signed Mauro Icardi from Inter back in May.
