Inter manager Antonio Conte’s current desire to win is greater than the desire he had to win when in charge of Juventus according to Inter central midfielder Arturo Vidal.

“Those who say that Conte no longer has the same desire to win do not know him, he has more desire now than when he was at Juventus,” the Chilean national team player has stated in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Vidal worked alongside Conte at Juventus and was reunited with the former Italian national team boss a few months ago as he swapped Barcelona for Inter following a very long courtship from the Nerazzurri club.

The 33-year-old, who is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made eight appearances for Inter since his arrival from the Blaugrana but in his 504 minutes on the field, he has failed to make any goal contributions.

Conte is meanwhile into his second year in charge of Inter and very nearly led the Nerazzurri to two trophies last season.

Under Conte’s stewardship Inter finished one point off Serie A winners Juventus and also reached the Europa League final, which they lost 3-2 to Sevilla.
