Inter will not get any of the transfer fee that Atletico Madrid paid to Valencia to sign central midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

When Inter sold the Central African Republic national team midfielder to Valencia, they secured a clause which enabled them to pocket 20% of a future resale.

Inter have however not gotten any money from Kondogbia’s transfer and they ultimately will not get anything due to the fact he moved to Los Colchoneros for €15 million and the clause was only valid if Kondogbia was sold for about €25 million.

Kondogbia joined Inter back in the Summer of 2015 from AS Monaco and moved to Valencia initially on loan in 2017 before they decided to sign him outright at the end of that season. In 56 appearances for Inter, Kondogbia scored two goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
