Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has not travelled with his Inter teammates for tomorrow’s Champions League group stage match away to Real Madrid according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

The Belgian national team forward sustained a muscle injury in last week’s goalless draw away to Shakhtar Donetsk in the competition and he was forced to miss Saturday’s 2-2 draw versus Parma as a result.

Lukaku will also be missing tomorrow night’s match at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium at Real Madrid’s training ground and it now remains to be seen whether or not he will be recovered in time for this coming weekend’s Serie A match away to Atalanta.

The 27-year-old former Manchester United striker has been in fine form since joining Inter in the Summer of 2019 with him having scored 41 goals in 58 appearances across all competitions to date. This season he has seven goals in as many games.
