David Alaba would prefer a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid above all according to a report from the online edition of German news outlet BILD.

The Bayern Munich defender’s contract is due to expire at the end of the current season and Bayern Munich’s president Herbert Hainer recently revealed that they have pulled the contract renewal offer they made to the Austrian from the table which has cast serious doubt over Alaba’s future in Bavaria.

Given his expiring contract status, Alaba has been linked with a whole array of top clubs. Inter, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked and as per this report, the player has a preference for a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Alaba has spent the past 12 years of his career with Bayern Munich and has made a total of 394 appearances for the club, in which he has scored 31 goals and tallied 49 assists.
