Inter central midfielder Arturo Vidal has shared his belief that he and his teammates are capable of beating Real Madrid in tonight’s Champions League group stage encounter with them.

The two sides head into tonight’s match at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium having both made poor starts to their respective Champions League group stage campaigns.

Neither side have won any of their first two matches in the competition. Inter have drawn both of theirs and sit third in group B whilst Real Madrid have drawn one and lost one.

Both sides were expected to be at the opposite end of the group and given their poor starts to the group stage, it has had to many labelling this match as decisive when it comes to each club’s chances of making it into the next round of the competition.

“Will we be able to do it? In my opinion, yes. We have a very strong team, with many players who are hungry. We will start doing everything on the pitch to prove it,” the Chilean national team player explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.
