Inter will not go back in for Fernando Llorente in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Nerazzurri club drew strong links with the veteran Spanish forward in the most recent Summer transfer window but ultimately a move never came to fruition and as per this report, a move is unlikely to happen in the future either.

Inter had looked at him due to him being a player Inter manager Antonio Conte knew from previously working with him but as things currently stand, he is not a player that Inter could move for in January.

Llorente’s contract with Napoli is due to expire at the end of this season thus meaning that from January he will be able to be approached on a pre-contract basis.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player has not played whatsoever for Napoli this term and has only made the bench for one of their matches to date.
