Inter manager Antonio Conte will not take any risks and deploy Alexis Sanchez from the first minute in tonight’s match away to Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Sanchez has struggled with a muscle injury lately and is not in top condition and will therefore start the match at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium on the bench.

Given the Chilean national team player will be starting on the bench, the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Ivan Perisic will maintain his spot in the starting line-up and will continue to play alongside Lautaro Martinez in the attack.

Conte wants to face Real Madrid by using his best players and those most reliable to him. Nicolo Barella will be preferred to Christian Eriksen at attacking midfield whilst Inter’s midfield tandem will consist of Marcelo Brozovic and Arturo Vidal.
