Italian Media Critical Of Inter’s Achraf Hakimi Following Performance Vs Real Madrid

Achraf Hakimi was Inter’s worst performing player in Inter’s Champions League group stage defeat to Real Madrid last night according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Moroccan national team player was at fault for Real Madrid’s first goal as he played a poor back pass which was capitalised on by Karim Benzema and the Rome based news outlet believe that he never recovered after his error. As a result they have given him a rating of just 4.5 for his performance at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium.

Inter’s best performer was Lautaro Martinez. The 23-year-old Argentine scored Inter’s first goal and set-up Ivan Perisic for their second and he has been rewarded with a 7/10 rating for his efforts.

Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella and Perisic were next best with ratings of 6.5 whilst Samir Handanovic, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Marcelo Brozovic were all given a rating of 6/10.

Ashley Young was rated 5.5/10 whilst Stefan de Vrij and Arturo Vidal both received half marks for their efforts against Los Blancos.
