The numbers behind the start of Inter’s season make for far from comfortable reading according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have won just three of their opening nine games and have struggled to keep the ball out of the net with them having conceded 15 goals already.

The last Inter manager to win so few games in the same amount of games was Frank de Boer whilst the last Inter manager to concede this many after as many games was Gian Piero Gasperini.

The report goes on to explain that under normal circumstances there would be a shadow cast over Antonio Conte’s future at the helm of the club but given Conte is contracted to Inter until 2022 and earns €12 million a year and Inter are still paying last manager Luciano Spalletti, a managerial change seems highly unlikely.

Since taking charge of Inter in the Summer of 2019, Conte has won 35 of 62 matches.
