Inter have taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to highlight the fact that Ivan Perisic scored his first Champions League goal away from home in Tuesday night’s Champions League group stage loss to Real Madrid.
The Croatian national team player, who was deployed as a striker alongside Lautaro Martinez, scored Inter’s second goal in their 3-2 defeat to the reigning Spanish champions and this was in fact his first away goal in the competition.
Inter posted: “Did you know? Ivan Perisic scored his first goal away from home in the Champions League.”
