Paris Saint-Germain have identified Lautaro Martinez as the replacement for Kylian Mbappe according to a report from Spanish news outlet TodoFichajes.com.

Mbappe’s contract with the reigning French champions is due to expire at the end of next season meaning they will have to either sell him in January or in the Summer if they wish to avoid losing him for nothing the following Summer. The player has several offers on the table but everything currently points towards him joining Real Madrid.

The report explains that Paris Saint-Germain are becoming resigned to the fact that Mbappe will leave and have set their sights on Lautaro, who has asked his representatives to find him a new club having not been given a salary increase by Inter.

Lautaro is under contract with Inter until 2023 and has a €111 million release clause in his contract, a clause that Paris Saint-Germain are determined to pay and could cover the costs of with the sale of Mbappe.
