Belgian national team boss Roberto Martinez will name his squad for the Red Devils upcoming matches tomorrow according to a report in today’s print edition of Belgian news outlet La Dernière Heure.
Belgium, who are currently ranked as the number one national team on the planet by world football’s governing body FIFA, are to play a friendly match with Switzerland before competing in UEFA Nations League ties with England and Denmark.
As per this report, there is a huge question mark over the head of Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and whether or not he will be included in the squad.
The Belgian national team’s greatest ever goalscorer has missed Inter’s past two matches due to a muscle injury in one of his thighs but could recover in time for Inter’s match against Atalanta this coming weekend.
In any case, the report states that the 27-year-old will still have to report to the Belgian national team training camp to be assessed by their medical staff.
