Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti has not convinced Inter manager Antonio Conte since his return to Inter in the Summer according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Inter youth academy graduate re-joined the club from Genoa during the Summer transfer window but has found playing time extremely limited and when he has been on the pitch, it has only been as a substitute.

It is evident that not only does Conte not trust the Italian youth national team representative nor does he consider Pinamonti to be a valid alternative to the starting strikers of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

Lukaku has missed Inter’s last two matches due to injury and Ivan Perisic, who is traditionally a winger but has been used as a left wing-back this term, has been given the nod ahead of Pinamonti on each occasion.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to conclude that just like last year, Inter do not have a solid fourth choice striker option.
