Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has been named in Danish national team manager Kasper Hjulmand’s squad for their upcoming matches.

The Danish national team are scheduled to play three games over the course of the international break. They will firstly host fellow Scandinavians in an international friendly match which will act as a warm-up for their UEFA Nations League fixtures versus Iceland and Belgium which will be played on November 15 and November 18 respectively.

The international break will represent an opportunity for Eriksen to get some much needed playing time as his struggles for playing time at Inter have continued.

The 28-year-old joined Inter in the January transfer window from Tottenham Hotspur in a circa €20 million deal and has far from performed to expectations during his time with the Nerazzurri club.

Since his arrival, the former Ajax player has made 33 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
