Noted Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has revealed that if it were down to him, he would play Inter in a 4-3-1-2 system.
Inter have not started the season as they were expected to with them sitting down in sixth place in Serie A, five points adrift of league leaders AC Milan after six games played.
The Nerazzurri are also sitting bottom of their group, group B, in the UEFA Champions League. After three games played, Inter sit bottom of their group with just two points to their name but are only just three points away from group leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.
Despite the difficulties Inter have had to deal with between injuries and positive COVID-19 tests, Inter manager Antonio Conte has stayed loyal to his system but Biasin has taken to social media platform Twitter to share an image of what his ideal line-up would be for the Nerazzurri side.
Biasin’s Inter line-up (4-3-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Achraf Hakimi, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Ashley Young; Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Arturo Vidal; Christian Eriksen; Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku
He posted: “Moments ago Radio Sportiva asked me ‘how would you play this Inter?’ I told them that the highest level I have coached at is youth level and many parents thought “whose hands have I put my kids in,” I welcome the invite and put down my ideal Inter that I came up with at the bar.”
Poco fa a @RadioSportiva:
“Tu come faresti giocare l’#Inter?”.Allora, detto che al massimo ho allenato i Giovanissimi Regionali e molti genitori pensavano “in che mani ho messo mio figlio…”, accolgo l’invito e butto giù la mia #Inter ideale, fatta al Bar Sport. pic.twitter.com/oN0xVAnSqv
