Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in signing Inter central defender Milan Skriniar according to a report from the online edition of sports broadcaster ESPN.

Spurs meanwhile tried to sign Skriniar in the most recent Summer transfer window but failed to get a deal done for him.

The north London based club have however retained their interest in signing him and Spurs boss Jose Mourinho would be open to moving for him in January or more likely next Summer but Liverpool’s interest complicates things for Spurs and their interest in the Slovakian national team player, who has played just two games this term,
