Inter legend Beppe Bergomi discussed tomorrow’s league clash between the Nerazzurri and Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta in an interview with Italian broadcaster Inter TV earlier today.

“I expect an Atalanta who attacks, plays man to man, who wants to play the game, but Conte’s team has all the weapons to be able to fight them. As seen in the end of last season.

“It will be a complicated match because Gasperini’s team plays excellent football, not only attacks the man but has strong qualities in offensive players, there they can alternate.

“Inter will have to be careful but they have the weapons to put Atalanta in trouble.”

Gasperini’s Atalanta are currently fourth in Serie A after six games, sitting on 12 points, one point ahead of sixth place Inter.

The Bergamo based club have lost two out of their last five league games, disappointing losses to Sampdoria and Napoli, but have already scored 17 goals, showing their ability to consistently reach the back of the net.

La Dea are coming off of a bitter 5-0 defeat to English side Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this week, and will be looking to lick their wounds with a win over Antonio Conte’s Inter tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri have started the season sluggishly, winning only three out of their first six games in the league, with a painful derby loss to AC Milan occurring last month.
