The Primavera season has been suspended until December 3rd by the new decree set forth by the Italian government, with Inter voting against restarting with a new protocol, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how 11 clubs voted in favour of a continuation of the tournament with a new protocol, including Roma, Sassuolo, Crotone, Hellas Verona, Fiorentina, Napoli, Sampdoria, Udinese, SPAL, Ascoli and Empoli.

11 clubs also voted against continuing the Primavera season, including Lazio, Atalanta, Inter, Torino, Bologna, Parma, La Spezia, Benevento, Genoa, Juventus and Cagliari.

Soon, a revised protocol will be proposed for the Primavera season that would provide tests and, in case of a squad heavily testing positive, the negative players isolating in their respective homes, in order to ensure their safety.

Inter are currently 7th in the Primavera table after three games, although they have played three games less than league leaders Roma.
