Inter striker Romelu Lukaku’s availability for tomorrow’s league clash against Atalanta will be decided today, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Belgian forward has been recovering from a tear in his abductor muscle, that has forced him to miss the last two games across the league and Champions League.

The former Manchester United striker trained individually yesterday, but did take part in intense training with the ball without any issues. The player told teammates that he was feeling good and in good spirits.

Today a decision will be made in the Inter camp regarding Lukaku and his availability for tomorrow’s clash against Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta.

Even if he joins the squad, it’s almost impossible to imagine that the 27-year-old will start, although he could be on the bench and join in the second half.

On Monday Lukaku will respond to the Belgian national team’s call up, with the medical staff heading to Milan to check on his physical condition.
