A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has analysed the relaunch of Croatian forward Ivan Perisic at Inter.

The report details how the 31-year-old Croatian forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, spent last season on loan with German side Bayern Munich, where he won the Treble. The Bundesliga giants decided not to pay €20 million to make his stay permanent.

After his return to Milan, coach Antonio Conte has been testing Perisic as a left wing back, alternating with Englishman Ashley Young.

The player began this season in the left wing back role, not particularly impressing in the role despite providing two assists in the first five league games.

Against Shakhtar Donetsk, Real Madrid and Parma Perisic featured as a forward, scoring twice in those three games, as well as providing key passes to his teammates.  Against the Spanish side he impressed with his pressing, passing and the second goal.

It is not currently clear where he will be deployed by Conte against Atalanta tomorrow.
