Former Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Orsi commented on Inter’s tense 1-1 draw against Atalanta earlier today when speaking on Italian radio show ‘Tutti Convocati’ after the game.

“Normally at the end of a match like this, Conte would have been angry with everyone, like after the Madrid match. They are not the Juventus and Inter we were expecting at this moment of the season.

“Juve depends on Cristiano Ronaldo, while Inter lacks something of Conte’s character, but maybe he is less hungry than he used to be.”

He commented on how the Nerazzurri appear calmer this season, but need to start picking up positive results soon.

“Juventus’ results are more justifiable after Pirlo’s appointment. Inter instead have no excuses, Conte is in his second year and last year he was more convincing. Last year’s team was one with an incredible hunger.

“I don’t know if the team have already thought about Conte, but the result is a more different, calmer Inter.

“A few missteps are fine, but if certain results are repeated, you have to ask yourself some questions. Dismissal? Let’s not exaggerate.”

Inter have started the season incredibly poorly, only winning three out of their first 10 games across all competitions so far this campaign.

Antonio Conte’s side have failed to win a single game in the Champions League either after three games, drawing against Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk and losing against Spanish side Real Madrid.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping to turn around their fortunes after the upcoming international break, with their first game back being against Torino on the 22nd November.

Last season at this point in the campaign, Inter had achieved six wins out of seven and sat on 18 points, six ahead of their current position.
