Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani discussed the future of Inter coach Antonio Conte in a post on his Twitter page earlier today, after the Nerazzurri’s cagey 1-1 draw against Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta.

Conte’s side have started this season poorly, winning only three games out of the 10 played so far this season across all competitions.

In the league, the Nerazzurri have won only once in their last five games, and have failed to win a single game so far in their Champions League group, with draws to Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Monchengladbach and a loss to Real Madrid.

The Milanese club have suffered heavily from both Covid-19 and various other injuries, but the club are seventh in the table after seven games and need to start achieving wins fast.

Inter’s next game is against Torino after the upcoming international break, a must win for confidence ahead of their return leg against Real Madrid at home.

Ravezzani discussed Conte’s future, saying: “Inter have only this window if they want to change coach. Difficult decision.

“Sure, Conte has lost momentum and if you think the problem is the 3-man defense and the bad use of Eriksen, then Allegri is the solution. But I would stay with Conte, despite everything.”
