Aleksandar Kolarov arrived in his native Serbia late last night for national team duty according to a report from Serbian news outlet Sport Klub.

The Inter defender arrived in Belgrade at 9 pm local time, a few hours after Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and it remains to be seen whether the two players will be given the green light to play in Thursday’s match versus Scotland, the winner of which will qualify for EURO 2020, in light of the ‘bans’ imposed by the local health authorities in Italy.

Given the bans imposed, Fiorentina’s Serbian duo Nikola Milenkovic and Dusan Vlahovic are ‘stranded’ in Florence and will, in all likelihood, be unable to report for national team duty.

Kolarov joined Inter back in the most recent Summer transfer window for a nominal fee from fellow Serie A club Roma. He has since went on to make six appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has tallied one assist.
