Inter are still determined to get a deal done for Chelsea central midfielder N’Golo Kante according to a report from French broadcaster Canal+, which was broadcast late last night.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is said to be eager to be reunited with the French national team player, who Inter had shown an interest in signing back in the most recent Summer transfer window. Conte is convinced that by adding Kante to his side, he can turn Inter into Serie A winners again.

The Nerazzurri club are however not alone in having an interest in signing Kante, with reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid also said to have an interest in adding him to their ranks.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been with Chelsea since the Summer of 2016 and is under contract with the London based club until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This season the former Leicester City player has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist for his teammates.
