Jindong Zhang, the president of Inter’s owners Suning, has seen his position on Forbes’ annual China’s richest man list drop significantly for this years edition according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

At the start of every November, Forbes, an American business magazine, published a list of the top 400 richest men in China.

In last year’s edition Jindong Zhang ranked 30th with a net worth of 58.69 billion yuan. This year his net worth fell slightly to 54.85 billion yuan, which is equivalent to almost €7 billion. This has led to the Chinese businessman sliding down 26 places to 56th place in Forbes’ list.

Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, sits at the top of the list with a net worth of no less than 437.72 billion yuan. There were 68 first time entries onto the list. Many of the names on the list are involved with Chinese sport whether that be the Chinese Super League (Football) or Chinese Basketball Assocation.
