Inter have won just three of their first 10 matches for the fourth time in club history according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri club have far from performed how they were expected to at the early stage of the 2020/21 season, a season which they were very much expected to be challenging at the top end of the table both domestically and in Europe.

In Serie A, Inter have played seven games to date and it is in the league where Inter’s three wins have come. They have also played three Champions League matches, two of which they have drawn and the other they lost. Inter are currently on a run of just one win in eight games.

The report from the Rome based news outlet highlights that the last time Inter started so poorly was back in the 2016/17 season, when Frank de Boer was in charge of the club.
