Inter are still worried about the physical condition of striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

In the warm up before yesterday’s 1-1 draw away to Atalanta, Lautaro picked up a thigh injury but managed to play 73 minutes of the match without picking up any further problems before being replaced by Romelu Lukaku.

Despite this, Inter are still anxious about the physical condition of the 23-year-old, who is expected to play in both of Argentina’s matches during the international break against Paraguay and Peru. Inter are worried and would like to avoid having to do without one of their key players due to injury.

Lautaro, who joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 from Racing Club and is under contract with them until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, he has scored five goals and provided two assists for his teammates.
