One of Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan’s representatives offered him to a club in the Indian Super League in the most recent transfer window according to a report from Times Of India sports editor Marcus Mergulhao.

As per Mergulhao’s report, the representative of the Belgian offered an unnamed Indian clubs the chance to sign Nainggolan, and in their proposal, they described Nainggolan as being a world class player.

Nainggolan was seeking a salary of €5 million a year to go and play in India, which is a greater salary than the one he already earns at Inter.

The club in question responded to his demands by telling him that not only were they, but no other club in the league were in a financial position to offer such a a salary to him.

Nainggolan has found playing time hard to come by this term between being injured and having COVID-19. He has been limited to four substitute appearances to date and in his 41 minutes on the park he has failed to make any goal contributions.

Mergluhao posted: “A representative for Inter Milan midfielder Radja Nainggolan offered the ‘world class’– exact words – player to ISL club. His salary expectations were 5 million euros (approx. Rs 42.5 crore). He was told, “No Indian club is in a financial position to pay such an amount.”
