Inter could make a move to sign Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul if Christian Eriksen leaves the club in the January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Doubts continue to surround Eriksen’s future at Inter amid his ongoing struggles at the club and everything currently suggests that Eriksen could bid farewell to the club when the transfer window opens back up again in January.
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin all showed an interest in Eriksen late in the Summer transfer window whilst Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be weighing up a move to sign him.
If Eriksen does leave, Inter’s favourite to bolster the midfield is not Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi but rather de Paul, who is a player they have been linked with several times in the past.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to add that Inter could potentially offer Andrea Pinamonti to Udinese as part of a deal for de Paul.
