Olivier Giroud will likely explore his options with regard to his footballing future in January according to a report from British news outlet Football London.

Giroud currently finds himself as being surplus to requirements at Chelsea and he has made no secret of his desire to be part of the France squad at EURO 2020. For these reasons, the report explains that he will explore his options.

Giroud is entering into the final stages of his playing career and is desperate to play and a move away may be the only way for him to get the playing time he craves.

There is no guarantee that he will be able to leave Chelsea though with it understood that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard values his presence in the dressing room and due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Chelsea could be apprehensive to let Giroud go to avoid being caught short in the attack.

The veteran French forward has often found himself linked with a potential switch to Inter. Last January he was linked but no move could be agreed upon. It has been widely reported that Inter want another striker in January and remains to be seen if they go back in for him.
