Inter and Belgian national team striker Romelu Lukaku has been named in Goal.com‘s GOAL 50, the list of the 50 best players in the world list.
GOAL 50 is made up of 25 male players and 25 female players and this year, which is the 13th edition of GOAL 50, the male award was won by Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and the female award was one by Wolfsburg’s Pernille Harder.
Lukaku has ranked number 15th in the men’s category and has Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold directly above him and Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry directly below him.
The former Manchester United striker has been ranked higher than the likes of Liverpool’s Mo Salah, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.
Lukaku joined Inter in the Summer of 2019 in a club record €65 million transfer deal. In the time since, the 27-year-old has made 59 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a highly impressive 41 goals and also tallied six assists.
