Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio arrived at the Italian national team’s training camp last night and he was subjected to a COVID-19 test this morning according to a report from Italian news agency ANSA.
The huge Italian squad for the international break have all been turning up at different times and there are still players who are still to arrive at Coverciano.
Some players arrived yesterday and trained with the team, others, including Alessio Romagnoli, arrived late last night like D’Ambrosio.
Domenico Berardi, Leonardo Bonucci, Federico Chiesa, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Lorenzo Insigne, Jorginho and Inter’s Nicolo Barella are all expected to arrive throughout today.
Italy are due to face off against European minnows Estonia tomorrow night at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in a friendly match.
The Azzurri will also play their final UEFA Nations League group stage matches with Poland and Bosnia & Herzegovina, which will be played on November 15 and November 18 respectively.
