Inter have taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to highlight that Lautaro Martinez’s last headed goal prior to his header versus Atalanta was also assisted by Inter left wing-back Ashley Young.
The duo combined for Inter’s first goal on Sunday in Bergamo and they also combined for Lautaro’s last header before this one which came back in the match against Cagliari back in January.
This year Lautaro has five goals and two assists in 10 games whilst Young has two assists in seven appearances this term.
Inter posted: “Did you know? Prior to his goal against Atalanta, Lautaro Martinez’s last headed goal in Serie A also came from an Ashley Young assist (in January against Cagliari).”
