Inter manager Antonio Conte’s will try to use this international break to take hold of his Inter side despite the fact he is dealing with a reduced squad due to national team call-ups according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have not started the season how they were largely expected to with them having won just three of their opening 10 games and won just one of their last eight and it is Conte’s intention to stop the bleeding.

One of the main issues Inter have suffered from this term is a lack of balance. By having someone like Roberto Gagliardini back available, it would enable Conte the chance to give players such as Arturo Vidal as chance to catch their breath.

The return of Milan Skriniar could also help as well as starting Matteo Darmian or Danilo D’Ambrosio or both on the wings and then calling upon Achraf Hakimi during matches.

Inter’s league schedule between now and Christmas is also kind with them only having to play Napoli when it comes to ‘big’ sides.

That said, Inter will play four of their league games between now and then away from home and also have to still play in the Champions League.
