Inter could potentially make a move to sign Junior Firpo from Barcelona according to a report from the Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Firpo was offered to Inter as part of talks with Barcelona over Lautaro Martinez but Inter were not interested in signing Firpo as Barcelona were valuing him at €40 million as part of their offer for Lautaro.

Inter remain on the hunt for a new left wing-back and under both advantageous economic and formal conditions, Inter could potentially bring the Dominican born left back in.

The report goes on to explain that Barcelona need to raise funds in order to fund a move for Lyon’s Memphis Depay and this could possibly help Inter out. Whilst Firpo is back on Inter’s radar, things have not heated up, at least for the time being.

This season 24-year-old Firpo has made just two appearances across all competitions, both of which have come off the substitute bench.
