Inter central defender Alessandro Bastoni is to be handed his Italian national team debut in this evening’s international friendly match versus European minnows Estonia according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.

Bastoni was initially called up to the Italy under 21 national team but due to injuries to the likes of Angelo Ogbonna and Alessio Romagnoli, he was promoted to the senior team and appears set to make his debut.

The highly rated defender will not be the only Inter player in the starting line-up for the match at Fiorentina’s Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The report goes on to add that Danilo D’Ambrosio will be played at right back whilst Roberto Gagliardini will play in central midfield alongside Roberto Soriano and Sandro Tonali.

Probable Italy starting line-up (4-3-3): Salvatore Sirigu; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Alessandro Bastoni, Emerson Palmieri; Roberto Soriano, Sandro Tonali, Roberto Gagliardini; Federico Bernardeschi, Kevin Lasagna, Vincenzo Grifo.
