Italian daily newspaper Libero have downplayed rumours of interest from several clubs in Inter’s struggling attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen.

In recent weeks, Eriksen has found himself linked with Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund but this report claims that these rumours are mainly fuelled by the boredom brought about because of the international break.

The report goes on to state that despite this, there is still a chance that the 28-year-old Danish national team player could go on to leave Inter in the upcoming January transfer window.

Eriksen joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from the aforementioned Tottenham Hotspur but has not managed to live up to expectations during his time in Milan so far.

Since his arrival on a four and a half year contract, the former Ajax player has made 33 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
