Lautaro Martinez will be among the starters for the Argentine national team in their World Cup qualifier against Paraguay according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Lautaro picked up an injury in the warm-up before Inter’s 1-1 draw away to Atalanta at the weekend and appeared doubtful but he is now fine and is more than likely going to start the match which will be played at Boca Juniors’ La Bombonera.

Inter’s club doctor Dr. Volpi is in constant contact with the highly rated 23-year-old and Inter manager Antonio Conte has his fingers crossed that Lautaro will be fine.

Conte is already thinking ahead to Inter’s first match back after the international break against Torino and the report goes on to explain that Conte will have to evaluate both Lautaro and Alexis Sanchez for fatigue upon their returns.

Probable Argentine national team line-up (4-3-3): Franco Armani; Gonzalo Montiel, Lucas Martinez Quarta, Nicolas Otamendi, Nicolas Tagliafico; Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes, Exequiel Palacios; Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martinez, Lucas Ocampos.
