Inter’s Alexis Sanchez Pulled Out Of Training With Chile Due To Muscle Problem Chilean Media Reports

Inter attacker Alexis Sanchez was forced to stop in training yesterday with the Chilean national team according to a report from Chilean news outlet CDF.cl.

Sanchez was unable to complete yesterday’s training session due to a muscle problem and this has generated some concern both for the Chilean national team medical staff and Chilean national team manager Reinaldo Rueda.

Although he has not been ruled out of playing in Chile’s 2022 World Cup qualifier versus Peru tomorrow, there is great concern and it remains to be seen how the situation will evolve between now and the game.

Sanchez has already missed three Inter matches this term due to a muscle problem and it is not made clear in the report as to whether he has injured the same muscles or if this is a fresh muscle problem.

This season the former Manchester United player has made seven appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has tallied two assists.
