The possibility of Hakan Calhanoglu leaving AC Milan at the end of the season is becoming more and more concrete as the weeks pass according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Turkish national team midfielder’s contract with the Rossoneri is due to expire at the end of this season and there is currently a great distance between Calhanoglu’s demands to sign a new deal and what AC Milan are prepared to offer him.

AC Milan are willing to offer him an initial salary of €3.5 million that would rise over the duration of the contract whilst Calhanoglu would like €7 million.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter, as well as Manchester United, are among several clubs to have made contact with Calhanoglu’s agent.

This season the former Hamburg player has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored four goals and tallied as many assists.
