A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has analysed Inter CEO Beppe Marotta’s recent complaints.

The report details how the Nerazzurri executive wants the testing parameters between Serie A and UEFA to be consistent, after Achraf Hakimi falsely tested positive ahead of the Champions League opener against German side Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this season.

Marotta would like to introduce a single centralized laboratory for the 20 Serie A clubs to use for their Covid-19 test analysis, even suggesting that Synlab is used, the same one chosen by UEFA for the Champions League and Europa League.

The Inter CEO has also been unhappy with the penalty not given to the Nerazzurri in the 2-2 draw against Parma, as well as exchanging opinions with Nicola Rizzoli regarding the new role given to Gianluca Rocchi.

In the Treble winning season, coach Jose Mourinho used external criticisms and issues to create a tight squad, helping them to win all three trophies that campaign.

A similar situation could be ongoing now, although this time Beppe Marotta is the one highlighting Inter’s external ‘enemies’.
