The remaining Inter squad have taken a round of Covid-19 tests today after yesterday’s friendly against Serie B side Monza, before taking a day off tomorrow, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri faced Christian Brocchi’s Monza in the closed-door friendly yesterday, a match that featured first team players like Ionut Radu, Andrea Ranocchia, Ashley Young, Radja Nainggolan and Matteo Darmian.

In Appiano Gentile today the squad have undergone a round of tests, with the results expected tomorrow. The Nerazzurri players will then have a rest day tomorrow, before returning to training at the orders of coach Antonio Conte on Monday.

Inter are currently 7th in Serie A after seven games, sitting on 12 points, one less than rivals Juventus, who are in 5th.

Antonio Conte’s side have only won one of their last five games in the league, so their upcoming clash against Torino is important to put the squad back on track.
