Former Udinese and Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono discussed Inter striker Christian Eriksen and how he believes that the player can still shine for the Nerazzurri in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio 24 earlier today.

“I think it’s only a matter of time and tactical balance, but in the end Eriksen will find minutes too.”

The 28-year-old Eriksen, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has struggled to adapt to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system since signing from Tottenham in the January transfer window earlier this year.

The former Spurs man has made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 301 minutes. In that time, he failed to particularly impress coach Antonio Conte and did little to impact the games.

Eriksen publicly complained about his lack of playing time and experience with the Nerazzurri so far in interviews with the Danish media earlier this week, frustrating the Milanese club.

Inter are now prepared to sell Eriksen in the upcoming January transfer window, with French side Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in signing him.
